University Writing Assessment

About

About me:  I’m a Ph.D. student in English Studies at Illinois State University.  My research interests include assessment, pedagogy, and creative writing.  My other interests (and re-shapings of my research interests) may reveal themselves as I blog.

About this blog:  This blog has been created in conjunction with my independent study course in assessment with Dr. Bob Broad at Illinois State University.  One of its major functions is to facilitate communication between myself, Dr. Broad, and the members of English 780, a course in assessment at Bowling Green University.  (Hello!)  If you’re affiliated with the class, you are welcome and encouraged to comment on pages and blog posts, and to ask me how to do so if you can’t figure out how.

(You’re also welcome to exercise patience as I completely bungle any explanation of how to blog, walk down the hall, and ask Dr. Ball or Dr. Kalmbach what I’m doing wrong.)
